Dear Customer,

for an optimum mounting of your binding we need to know the length from the sole of your ski boots. You can find these information on the outside or inside on the heel of your ski boots. The length information is marked with ?mm?.
If you can?t find the length information you can also measure the length of your ski boots from heel to toe. That information is important, because the length of the sole can be different although the shoe size is the same. We also can mount the binding if we only get your regular shoe size but will not give any guarantee for the right position of your binding.

Product information "Rossignol HERO MASTER ST R22 + Look SPX 14 2026/27 Ski"

The Rossignol Hero Master ST R22 is a ski that puts a grin on your face from the very first carving turn.

This is not a ski that wants to be taken easy – it wants to be put on edge, loaded with pressure and driven through the next turn with power. At the same time, it combines the precision of a race ski with an incredibly direct and intuitive feel.

With its geometry designed for short turn radii, Full Camber construction and race-proven LCT technology, the Hero Master ST is clearly built for sporty carving.

What makes the Rossignol Hero Master ST R22 special?

For me, it is above all the combination of easy turn initiation, enormous edge grip and impressive tracking stability. The Master ST pulls into the turn with remarkable power and immediately gives you the feeling that the edge will stay exactly where you want it.

No matter how deep I pushed the turn, the ski held its line. This is where the Master ST really shines, especially in short and medium-radius turns. The LCT (Line Control Technology) reduces counter-flexing of the ski and provides a smooth, controlled line, while the continuous Titanal layer adds damping and very direct power transmission.

The Full Camber construction combined with the rectangular Full Sidewall construction also gives the ski an extremely solid feel on edge and inspires a huge amount of confidence, even under high loads. At the same time, the Cascade Tip reduces swing weight in the tip and supports precise, smooth turn initiation.

What stood out to me most during the test was how quickly the Hero Master ST makes you feel completely in control of the ski. You can open up the turn, build up more and more pressure and put the ski deeper and deeper on edge – and it remains predictable and incredibly stable. That feeling of confidence is what makes this ski so special.

Who is the Rossignol Hero Master ST R22 suitable for?

The Hero Master ST R22 is aimed at very advanced to expert skiers who are looking for maximum performance on groomed slopes and love skiing short to medium-radius carved turns.

It is particularly interesting for skiers looking for a no-compromise, sporty piste ski with genuine race DNA who are willing to actively work with the ski. If you enjoy building pressure, carving deep into the turn and want a ski that remains absolutely reliable on edge even when pushed hard, the Master ST is a fantastic choice.

For me, the Hero Master ST is one of those skis that makes you think after just a few turns: “This is exactly how a carving ski should feel.” It pulls powerfully into the turn, holds its line incredibly well and gives you the confidence to make the next turn even faster and even deeper.

Does the Rossignol Hero Master ST R22 hold on hard or icy slopes?

Yes – this is exactly where the Hero Master ST R22 shows one of its greatest strengths. On hard-packed snow, the ski provides an enormous amount of confidence and remains precise and stable even under very high edge pressure. The Full Camber construction, continuous Titanal layer and rectangular Full Sidewall construction create plenty of pressure on the edge and provide a very direct connection between skier and ski. Rossignol specifically designed the ski for maximum precision and grip during fast, short-radius turns.

The Master ST also shows what it is capable of on icy sections. The edge bites very directly and the ski holds its line even when conditions become genuinely demanding. Of course, no ski can overcome the laws of physics. On mirror-like ice, the quality of the edge tune and sharpness is just as important as the ski's construction when it comes to maintaining grip.
