Product information "Völkl PEREGRINE 72 MASTER + Comp 16 GW 2026/27 Sportcarver"
The Völkl Peregrine 72 Master is neither a pure race carver nor an all-mountain ski. It is a dedicated carving machine that continues to perform exceptionally well even in chopped-up and variable snow conditions.
The Tailored Carbon Tip construction in the shovel gives the Peregrine 72 Master an incredibly smooth and powerful turn initiation that puts a smile on your face with every carve.
Featuring a World Cup Ash Woodcore, a two-layer Titanal construction, 3D Glass technology, and the Tailored Carbon Tip, this ski combines the full expertise of Völkl's engineers to deliver a high-performance ski that is agile, exceptionally stable, and offers outstanding edge grip at any speed.

Technologies
Tailored Carbon Tip
The Tailored Carbon Tip technology allows carbon fibers to be positioned precisely along the ski's force lines, creating entirely new possibilities, especially in the shovel area, which has a decisive influence on the ski's handling characteristics.
By carefully controlling the thickness and orientation of the carbon fibers, Völkl can fine-tune the ski's stiffness, torsional rigidity, and overall performance. Energy is directed exactly where it is needed, resulting in a lightweight construction that requires less effort to initiate turns while delivering rapid energy transfer and exceptional responsiveness.
World Cup Ash Woodcore
Previously reserved exclusively for World Cup race skis, this highly elastic hardwood core acts as an energy reservoir. As the ski bends during turn initiation, the wood fibers stretch and store elastic energy. At the end of the turn, this stored energy is released in a controlled manner, providing powerful rebound and dynamic acceleration into the next turn.
3D Glass
3D Glass technology improves both handling and stability, particularly in demanding snow conditions. Compared with conventional fiberglass constructions, the three-dimensional, multi-layered fiberglass structure positioned in front of and behind the binding area delivers stronger edge grip and a more energetic rebound throughout the turn.
