The Rossignol Hero Master LT R22 is a ski that’s particularly fun when you pick up speed and carve long to medium-length turns on the edge.

This ski is designed to be skied actively: build up pressure, carry your speed and guide the ski cleanly through the turn. It combines the precision of a racing ski with impressive smoothness and stability.

What makes the Rossignol Hero Master LT R22 special?

For me, it’s above all the combination of tremendous edge grip, excellent smoothness and impressive directional stability. The Master LT enters the turn with plenty of drive and remains astonishingly smooth and controlled even at high speeds.

LCT technology reduces unwanted ski movement and, together with the Titanal construction, ensures direct power transfer and plenty of stability. The full-camber design and full-sidewall construction also provide strong edge grip and very direct contact with the piste.

What particularly struck me during the test was that the faster you go, the better the Master LT feels. You can build up more and more pressure, extend the turn further and really let the ski run – it remains controlled and tracks well throughout.

Who is the Rossignol Hero Master LT R22 suitable for?

The Master LT is aimed at very good to outstanding skiers who are looking for maximum performance on the piste and enjoy making medium to long, cleanly carved turns.

Anyone who loves speed, skis actively and is looking for an uncompromisingly sporty piste ski with racing DNA will have a great time on the Master LT. For short, tight turns, however, the Master ST is the more suitable choice.

Does the Rossignol Hero Master LT R22 hold up on hard or icy slopes?

Yes – the Master LT really comes into its own on hard and compact slopes. The combination of full camber, Titanal and full sidewall ensures plenty of edge pressure and very direct power transfer.

Even on icy sections, the ski remains precise and tracks well when skied cleanly. However, the same applies here: on mirror-smooth ice, grip depends not only on the construction but, above all, on a cleanly sharpened and well-groomed edge.

For me, the Hero Master LT R22 is therefore a ski for anyone who wants to combine speed, precision and stability – a genuine high-performance piste ski that really shines when you let it run.
