Product information "Völkl PEREGRINE 76 + Rmotion 12 GW 2026/27 Sportcarver"
The Völkl Peregrine 76, like the Peregrine 72, benefits from a new construction that makes it noticeably more agile and responsive. If you enjoy medium-radius carving turns or prefer a more traditional skiing style, the Peregrine 76 could be the perfect choice.
Thanks to its redesigned geometry with a wider shovel and a shorter Tip & Tail Rocker profile, this powerful ski performs exceptionally well across a wide range of turn shapes. Much of this versatility comes from the Tailored Carbon Tips. Using Völkl's exclusive Tailored Fibre Placement (TFP) technology, carbon fibers are positioned precisely where they are needed to optimize turn behavior. The thickness and orientation of the fibers determine exactly how much input is required and how energy is built up throughout the turn.
One of the most noticeable benefits is the ski's agile tip engagement. From the very beginning of the turn, the shovel responds progressively and predictably according to edge pressure, providing precise and controlled turn initiation. This construction also reduces overall weight without sacrificing stability. In addition, Tailored Fibre Placement allows Völkl's engineers to fine-tune each ski length to match the needs of its intended skier.
Like the rest of the Peregrine range, the ski features 3D Glass construction in the tip and tail, while the proven Multilayer Woodcore with a poplar and beech wood blend provides the core structure. Two full-length Titanal layers deliver the lively rebound and stability Völkl is known for.
The Peregrine 76's performance is further enhanced by the new R-Motion 3 GW binding. Its shorter interface plate, combined with a wider mounting pattern, delivers more direct power transmission and quicker edge-to-edge transitions. A key innovation is the two rear binding screws, which are no longer fixed, allowing the binding to move freely with the ski's natural flex. This creates a smoother flex pattern, improves edge grip, and reduces the effort required throughout the turn.
