The Völkl M7 Mantra – the legendary freeride ski enters its seventh generation with a complete redesign and further improvements. Even more agile, more versatile across the mountain, and even more lively on the piste.

The Völkl M7 Mantra continues to feature a Multilayer Woodcore as well as Tip & Tail Rocker. For this season, however, the newly designed ski shape is combined for the first time with a 3D Radius Sidecut concept and Tailored Titanal Frame construction.

By tailoring the Titanal reinforcement precisely to each ski length and therefore adapting it to the proportions and needs of different skiers, Völkl can optimize the weight of the tip and tail while also fine-tuning torsional stiffness and overall performance. This approach preserves the legendary stability and damping of a Titanal ski while making the M7 Mantra noticeably easier and more agile to control.

The performance of the M7 Mantra is further enhanced by the Tailored Carbon Tips. Through the precise positioning of carbon fibers, the shovel provides improved turn initiation and increased torsional stiffness, resulting in a more accurate and responsive ride.

Technologies

3D Radius Sidecut

Maximum versatility and agility thanks to a shorter radius underfoot. The longer radii in the tip and tail reduce the tendency to catch an edge and provide effortless maneuverability across changing terrain.

Tailored Titanal Frame

A Titanal reinforcement structure precisely adapted to each ski length. This construction saves weight while maintaining the key performance benefits of Titanal, including vibration damping, stability, tracking performance, and agility.

Tailored Carbon Tip

The Tailored Carbon Tip technology allows carbon fibers to be positioned precisely along the ski’s force lines, creating entirely new possibilities, especially in the shovel area, which has a major influence on the ski’s handling characteristics.

By adjusting the thickness and orientation of the fibers with millimeter precision, Völkl can specifically tune stiffness, torsional rigidity, and overall performance. This allows energy to be transferred exactly where it is needed. The integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are lightweight, provide agile tip engagement with less effort, and quickly build energy for a dynamic and responsive ride.
