Völkl M6 MANTRA FLAT 22/23

Völkl M6 Mantra - The legendary freeeride all-rounder has been revised and improved in its sixth (!) generation. Even more rev-happy, more broadband on the mountain and even livelier on the piste!

The Völkl M6 Mantra also comes with Multilayer Woodcore and tip and tail rocker. But this season the newly designed ski body is adapted for the first time to a 3D Radius Sidecut concept with Tailored Titanal Frame.

By tailoring the titanal portion to the different lengths of the ski and thus to the skier's proportions, it is not only possible to optimise the weight of the shovel and the ends, but also to influence the torsional stiffness and thus improve the skiing characteristics. In this way, the usual stability of a titanal ski is retained and yet the Völkl M6 Mantra is generally noticeably easier and more agile to control. The riding characteristics of the M6 Mantra from Völkl are further improved by the Tailored Carbon Tip. The special positioning of the carbon fibres allows the turn initiation through the tip to be precise and the torsional stiffness of the ski to be particularly positively influenced.

Technologies:

3D Radius Sidecut
Maximum turning ability due to small radius under the binding. Less clipping and easy manoeuvrability due to longer radius at tip and tail.

Tailored Titanal Frame
A titanal frame perfectly adapted to the ski length. This saves weight but maintains performance such as damping/ smoothness, tracking control and agility.

Tailored Carbon/ Fiber Replacement
The carbon/fibre replacements can be positioned exactly along the lines of force, which opens up completely new possibilities, especially in the area of the shovel. The shovel has a decisive influence on the ski's performance. The stiffness, torsion and thus the skiing characteristics can be adjusted in a targeted manner via the fibre thickness and millimetre-precise alignment. In this way, the fibres channel the dynamics into the areas of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are light, enable agile shovel retraction with less effort and build up energy quickly.
